OVERVIEW:

Being small allows a business to focus on the community. For Main Street Bank of Bingham Farms, MI, that meant being able to provide clients with all of the benefits of larger banks, but with a personal touch. With a client base primarily residing within about 15 miles of what was then a single location, the bank turned to Effectv to help increase deposits and loan activity, and to build brand awareness.

STRATEGY:

Effectv developed a multi-screen campaign focused in just the surrounding communities that were most relevant. Television advertising, designed to reach a client base that could range from young families to retirees, generally more affluent and educated, focused initially on Detroit Tigers baseball as well as additional sports programming like the NFL and U.S. Open tennis and general-interest programs. In-banner video advertising on Xfinity.com provided additional reach, with approximately 10,000 monthly impressions.

SUCCESS:

  • 90% increase in traffic (including website visits, in-person visits and phone interactions).
  • 30% revenue increase.
  • Recognition of bank’s President from television advertising after campaign began.
