OVERVIEW:

Having opened in a new location, RT Tire of Pacheco, CA, needed to increase visibility and awareness both in its immediate area and throughout the larger market of Contra Costa County. Working with Effectv, the company developed an effective and budget-friendly multi-screen media plan.

STRATEGY:

One component of the plan called for geographically targeted TV advertising in store’s immediate area. That included commercials on networks like Comedy Central, FX, History and TLC. The second component was a combination of sports programming on TV and digital advertising on Xfinity.com reaching the larger market. The sports programming package included high-profile Oakland A’s and Golden State Warriors games on NBC Sports Bay Area. Xfinity.com advertising included high-visibility placements on the site’s email page and in-banner video advertisements across the site. The in-banner video advertisements included direct links to contact the store, read review on Yelp and view available inventory.

SUCCESS:

RT Tire reported that it experienced more than 15% growth during its multi-screen advertising campaign. In fact, the results were so strong that the company doubled its advertising investment for the following year.
