OVERVIEW:

“Staycations” have gained in popularity in recent years, and for the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, that presented an opportunity to highlight the many tourist attractions available within a drivable distance from Chicago’s western suburbs.

STRATEGY:

The agency worked with Comcast Spotlight to create a geographically targeted multi-screen campaign to let Chicago-area residents know about the many options available nearby in Peoria. They used television advertising in four zones of the Chicago market with commercials running across many top television networks, including ABC Family, Food Network, HGTV, History, TNT, OWN and Oxygen. In addition, in-banner video advertising on Xfinity.com featured the agency’s television commercials as well as links to its Facebook and YouTube pages.
