Great location? Check. Ample parking? Check. Customer awareness of the full product lineup available? For Midway Liquors of Joppa, MD, that last item was the challenge to be solved: many potential customers thought of the business as a “beer store,” and didn’t know about the extensive collection of wines and alcohol available as well as the friendly, knowledgeable staff. That’s where a Comcast Spotlight multi-screen advertising campaign came in.


With dozens of television networks available, Midway Liquors was able to focus its wine-oriented commercials on networks popular with women, like Lifetime, Bravo and Food Network. The store was also able to reach a wider audience to build brand awareness by adding networks like ESPN and FOX News. advertising utilized Banner Link technology, which enabled the store to promote the wines available for purchase that month.
